Aliviane, Inc. (Aliviane) is a non-profit behavioral health organization based in el paso county and serving west Texas counties that began providing services in 1970 and has developed a wide range of substance use and other mental health disorder prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery programs. For 50 years, Aliviane has been a prominent leader in substance use and mental health co-occurring disorder services and a respected client advocate. With 19 different programs targeting children, adolescents, women, men, and families in the community, we pride ourselves on being the leading west Texas non-profit organization in substance use and mental health co-occurring disorders. The organization's services include outreach, education, prevention, intervention, treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders, medication-assisted treatment, pregnant/postpartum intervention, testing for infectious diseases, hiv services, recovery support services, parenting classes, youth counseling, case management, and community awareness projects. In 2021, through its different services and amidst a global pandemic, Aliviane, Inc. Provided direct services to over 60,000 clients in el paso and surrounding areas. The organization's success lies in putting clients first, surrounding them with as many resources as possible, and working with other community organizations, because no one entity can do it alone. Aliviane is deeply committed to the community and hopes to continue to expand its capacity to serve more people of west Texas for many more years to come.

The organizations services include outreach, education, prevention, intervention, treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders, medication-assisted treatment, pregnant/postpartum intervention, testing for infectious diseases, hiv services, recovery support services, parenting classes, youth counseling, case management, and community awareness projects. Additionally, the organization is governed by a board of directors composed of seven members appointed for a three-year term, all of whom are representative of the local community and have a deep passion for alivianes mission, vision and core value. Alivianes board of directors provide the framework for planning, directing, coordinating, providing, and improving care, treatment and services to respond to community and client needs to improve outcomes with the ultimate responsibility and legal authority for the safety and quality of care, treatment and services of the programs. Alivianes board of directors are respected leaders of the community and provide a wide range of skills and abilities that make them an invaluable piece of alivianes organizational structure.
Alivianes prevention and intervention programs provide the community with the much-needed resources to understand the effects and symptoms of underage alcohol tobacco, nicotine use, marijuana and other cannabinoid use, prescription drug misuse, and the use and misuse of other drugs and substances. The prevention programs focuses on the aversion of substance use while increasing the mental well in the community and throughout rural areas. While also providing training to health professionals, educators, service providers, and family members. The intervention programing introduces individuals and families to techniques and methods to regain and/or maintain control over substance use and factors that may lead to substance use or misuse. Throughout the years, Aliviane has developed a strong network of community support and partnerships that help the organization provide top-quality care in el paso county and west Texas. The organization currently has more than 100 documented mouas that demonstrate collaboration in multiple categories of service including referrals, presentations, training, recruitment, medical services, equipment and supplies, as well as fund development support.
