Allfed Institute

The first major program was researching foods that are resilient to Global Catastrophic Risks (GCRs). We produced 4 publications for peer review on this and delivered over 20 presentations. Note: we transitioned from a fiscally sponsored organization, ALLFED USA, under Players Philanthropy Fund (EIN #27-6601178). To this independent organization at the end of the fiscal year 2022. This 990 does not reflect any expenses, as all of these were handled by our fiscal sponsor for the 2022 calendar year, and therefore all programs and projects were under ALLFED USA in 2022. Please see the 990 filed from EIN #27-6601178 for all expenses and other income from 2022 that was used by this organization. All of the programs and expenses, previously done under fiscal sponsorship of Player's Philanthropy Fund, transitioned to this new ALLFED Institute entity as of January 1, 2023.

The third major program was communications where we built awareness of resilience to GCRs by working with the media, attending conferences and delivering workshops on our work. See above for Disclosure regarding income and expenses under fiscal sponsorship.

The second major program was policy to help governments prepare for disasters. Under this program, we started to develop country-level preparedness and response plans for neglected catastrophic scenarios. We also provided briefings to several NATO governments and UN agencies.
