Communications and marketing: the communications and marketing working group is focused on developing and implementing a communications and outreach strategy for the aaih, as well as creating resources for aaih membership use. Accomplishments: a. Published regular newsletter b. Coordinated and grew social media outreach in support of member organizations c. amplified industry news and aaih member successes d. hosted ai in Healthcare webinar series e. hosted Healthcare ai networking and industry development event in conjunction with large eu industry conference
Data science, technology and standards: the dsts working group is focused on initiatives dedicated to fostering the development of specific technology sectors through consideration of key questions around data access, standards and data integrity for ai powered Healthcare solutions. Accomplishments: a. Hosted webinar on federated data approaches to data sharing b. Sponsored regular working group meetings on ai/ml use for clinical applications c. actively engaged with standards development organizations through public consortia and private discussions
Policy and regulatory: the policy and regulatory working group is focused on engagement with regional and international governing and regulatory bodies, such as cms, ema, health canada, fda etc. in addition, the prwg is responsible for developing a cohesive strategy for aaih legislative and policy advocacy. Accomplishments: a. Coordinated and co-hosted member sessions on ip issues around ai/ml in Healthcare b. Held members regulatory affairs meetings to exchange information and views on regulators activities and industry developments.
Enable the advancement and responsible use of ai in Healthcare to improve patients lives by focusing on resolution of the sectors most pressing and significant issues for patients and developers. It advances these goals by working collectively to identify and address industry wide concerns, one of which is the intersection of ai and intellectual property. Accomplishments: a. Launched projects focused on collaborations around disease data access b. Developed framework for ai/ml sector performance metric
