Research saving sight, restoring Vision initiative: aevr educates policy makers and the public about the value of Eye and Vision Research. Beginning in 2021, most of aevr's ongoing activities to educate policy makers and the public about the value of Eye and Vision Research (such as congressional briefings and receptions) were labeled as Research saving sight, restoring Vision initiative (rssrv) 2021-2030 activities, rssvr is a sustained educational effort, begun in 2021, to recognize the power of federally funded Vision Research to benefit patients by increasing productivity, maintaining independence and improving quality of life.
