ALLPLAY's Miracle Baseball League field is host to its own Miracle League, a special league that lets children with disabilities have an ideal baseball experience. In Miracle League games, every player bats every inning, all base runners are safe, every batter scores. The Miracle League baseball field and playground have rubber-covered surfaces, meant to soften falls and prevent injuries. All aspects of the complex have level surfaces specifically designed for: wheelchairs; walkers; braces; crutches; visually impaired; and persons with other kinds of mobility impairments. The Nebraska Barons wheelchair softball teams make their home at Nebraska Barons Field at ALLPLAY Complex. After 20+ years practicing and playing in parking lots, the Barons now use the nation's finest wheelchair softball field. The specifically designed field allows the players to play the game and maximize their abilities.
ALLPLAY is building a $1.2 million dollar project that includes accessible playground, spray ground, and fishing pier in Benson Park. These features have been especially designed following ALLPLAY's first project in Seymour Smith Park in Omaha. Landscape design, elevation considerations, ramps, special equipment, and soft surfaces have been used in the design of the proposed Benson facility to ensure full accessibly and safety. Upon completion the facility would be available and accessible for everyone to enjoy. Fundraising activities occurred in 2014 and the playground was constructed.
