Program areas at Alternative Directions

Residential Probation - program for rehabilitation and supervised housing for probationers (215 participants this year)
Offenders Success privides miscellaneous support services primarily to non-resident men and women recently released from prison. Services include providing drivers licenses, state IDs, housing search services, food & clothing assistance, transportation assistance (mostly bus passes), etc. This program served 343 residents during the year.
Transitional Housing residents who have been recently released from prison can reside here for up to six months. They can leave at any time if they find acceptable accommodations. They receive minimal services (room & board) and are not required to participate in rehab-related activities, unlike 'regular' residents. They work with and report to their individual court (parole/probation) officers rather than our case managers. This program served 106 residents during the year.
