Description
Altons Keep Wildbird Rescue and Rehabilitation Center rescues injured and orphaned wild birds, rehabilitates them, and releases them back into the wild. It also educates the public on wild bird conservation through its over 12 on-site conservation programs. Some of these programs were at the request of the Conservation Officer, and it continues to work with Girl and Boy Scout troops and technical schools. Additionally, Altons Keep is permitted to rehab Bald Eagles.

Program areas at Altons Keep Wildbird Rescue and Rehabilitation Center

Altons'Keep had over 9 on-site wild bird conservation programs. Some of these programs were at the request of the Conservation Officer. We continue our work with the Girl and Boy Scout troops and technical schools. We are still permitted to rehab Bald Eagles. We have Hellena, a non-releasable Bald Eagle, in our Education Program. We are training permitted volunteers to continue wildbird rehabilitation.
