Program areas at Amara Conservation
The baraza program organizes public group meetings of members of rural communities in eastern africa to hold a dialogue on issues of concern to the collective group. Discussions include topics of preserving local environments and wildlife.
The mobile film unit uses portable audio/visual equipment to travel to rural communities in eastern africa to show educational films to thousands of people, which teaches them about Conservation of the environment. The films make them aware of the need to preserve the wildlife that is vital to the community.
Other activities related to further promoting the organization's mission of conserving the wildlife and wild lands of the tsavo Conservation area and promote sustainable livelihoods through environmental education and capacity building in collaboration with local communities.
