Amedisys Foundation

Amedisys employees 1st fund: provides financial assistance to our own eligible team members who are experiencing severe financial need caused by unexpected emergencies such as natural disasters, serious illness or injury, funeral expenses, or extreme circumstances, like a house fire. The maximum amount of an employee grant is $2,500 and employees can receive a max of 2 per year for two separate incidents.

Patients' special needs fund: provides financial assistance to help our home health, hospice and personal care patients during a difficult time. Just like before, a request can be made for a maximum of $500 for general expenses and maximum of $1,500 for funeral, cremation, or burial assistance; a patient can receive up to 2 grants per year; one for each category
