Scientific assembly - the organization held its 30th annual scientific assembly in new orleans, in april 2023. The scientific assembly is the organization's yearly annual conference designed to offer continuing medical education credit to all attending physicians. The scientific assembly perpetually aims to advance Emergency Medicine for the clinician and proudly be the premier clinical conference in the Emergency Medicine specialty.
The journal of Emergency Medicine (jem) - jem is the official journal of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (aaem). Jem is an international, peer-reviewed publication featuring original contributions of interest to both the academic and practicing Emergency physician. Jem includes research papers and clinical studies as well as articles focusing on the training of Emergency physicians and on the practice of Emergency Medicine.
Spring & fall oral board review courses - the organization holds multiple courses for Emergency Medicine practices preparing to take the American board of Emergency Medicine (abem) or the American osteopathic board of Emergency Medicine (aobem) oral board examination.
Aaem's other primary program's include the written board review course, membership newsletters, and the activities of aaem rsa, aaem pg, & the aaem state chapters.
