Program areas at American Arbitration Association
Case administration:the aaa administers hundreds of thousands of arbitrations, mediations and other forms of dispute resolution in a given year. The aaa's administrative role in these processes is to provide a forum where disputes can be resolved, to provide qualified arbitrators, mediators and other dispute resolution professionals, and to apply our rules that govern the conduct of those proceedings. The result of the aaa's collective programs has resulted in a lessening of the burdens of our courts and government.
Education and publications: the aaa education services division provides comprehensive education and training. Its focus is education and training programs both in domestic and international settings as well as online formats to arbitrators and mediators serving the aaa and icdr as well as advocates, business professionals, and the general public. The goal of these programs is to educate and encourage the responsible use of alternative dispute resolution processes.
