Member servicesthe member services program provides services that enhance the value and capacity of the organization through chapter support, state conference support; chapter advocacy and organizing; and membership development, services and benefits.
Policy and legal advocacythe policy and legal advocacy program promotes principles of academic freedom, shared governance, and due process in higher education through the development of policy documents and reports; and application of these principles to particular situations, in the form of casework and investigations.
Communicationsthe communications program supports disseminating information to the members and public about the organization's mission and work, through distribution of periodical publications, other online communications and media outlets.
Researchthe research program conducts research and publishes reports on topics related to faculty compensation, academic freedom, tenure, governance, the academic workforce, and gender equity.
