Information: Acce helps members stay ahead of trends and issues, constantly advising chambers about better ways to serve their communities and employers in regions across the us and canada. Recently, the organization has increased the flow of information on policies, issues, economic development opportunities and regulatory compliance. Constantly increasing the quantity, quality and speed of information delivered to chambers ensures that all those who lead such organizations can improve the quality of life and prosperity of the regions they serve.
Network: peer-to-peer products and programs which place an emphasis on knowledge transfer through peer groups are key to the Acce network. Adjustments in the technology, style and duration of peer groups allows national connections to be maintained. Through the growing power of our annual convention, as well as an ongoing shared branding initiative and revamped awards programs, our network provides invaluable knowledge to members. Technology allows for global linkages among members, with new community-building tools available through our expanding web-based resources.
Professional development: Acce's professional development initiatives are designed around an internationally accepted body of knowledge. Programming is concentrated on senior leadership and those whose positions involve decision-making for departments within their organizations. Curriculum coverage for all Chamber disciplines is an essential part of education programs, with new components aimed at economic development, government relations and even management in the future. We are forging new relationships with state and regional associations of Chamber leaders in order to expand our reach and ensure viable audiences.
Solutions: creating workable, practical member-oriented solutions to Chamber organizational challenges may include choosing the right retirement plan, choosing membership management software, or running an effective board retreat. A cadre of trusted professional partners, carefully selected group purchase options, and industry advice on choices and products for Chamber management as well as direct responses to specific needs allows Acce to enable individual chambers to sustain and improve their operations.
