Program areas at American Chemical Society - Silicon Valley Section
Awards - Presented to outstanding students at science fairs and to nationally recognized chemists in recognition of their accomplishments in the field and service to the American Chemical Society.
Due to Covid-19 in 2021 and 2022, two main programs the section carry out every year, Teach The Teachers Workshop and Undergraduate Research Conference, had difficulty starting up again. These two programs were substituted with a number of much smaller events to increase diversity of younger generation interest in science and reaching out to high school students to offer career guidance.
