American College of Physicians Michigan Chapter

The Michigan Chapter of the American College of Physicians has 5,054 members comprised of 25 masters, 818 fellows, 1479 general members, 1684 resident/fellow members, 971 medical students, 29 transitional medical graduates & 48 affiliates. The 2022 Michigan Chapter acp annual scientific meeting was held in-person and virtually october 13-16, 2022. 22.5 continuing medical education credits were offered. The meeting focused on presentations regarding general office based internal medicine practices, as well as, hospital based internal medicine practices. There was also an abstract/poster competition for residents and medical students to participate. There were approximately 400 attendees. The spring 2023 resident and medical student day was held in-person and there was as an abstract/poster competition for resident and medical students to participate. There were approximately 375 attendees. The governor's electronic newsletter is distributed quarterly via email.
