American College of Veterinary Dermatology (the "College") sets standards and provides a forum for discussion and advanced learning in the field of Veterinary Dermatology. The College administers exams to test and ultimately award memberships. The exam is one of the only exams in the world in the field of Veterinary Dermatology. The College also oversees resident training programs.
First Dermatology Outreach event at a university: The Dunbar Gram Dermatology Outreach at Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada, November 25, 2023. Previously these events were held in conjunction with Veterinary Medical Associations in the continental US and were geared toward general veterinarians. The new program is geared toward veterinary students To encourage an interest in veterinary dermatology.
The College maintains an online library for its members and provides continuing education opportunities.
