Program areas at American Heritage Girls
American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a national Christ-centered character development program with over 41,688 girl members ages 5 to 18. In 2023, AHG utilized over 21,915 trained adult volunteer members partnered with over 1,240 faith based charter organizations in 50 states to accomplish its mission of building women of integrity. The AHG program teaches girls life skills through badge work (206,202 badges earned in 2023), self confidence through outdoor adventures (over 1,792 camp experiences offered in 2023) and servant leadership through outward-focused community service (over 683,880 hours served in 2023). In the 2023 program year, girls earned 8,171 level awards and 156 stars and stripes awards, AHG's most prestigious award.
