Provide members with information regarding issues affecting the horse industry. Produce publications and hold meetings which provide a forum for members to share ideas. The American Horse Council advises the horse industry about federal legislation, regulations, and policies and represents it before congress and federal regulatory agencies. It informs the public, government entities, the media, and the horse industry about the equine industry's important role in the economic, sporting, agricultural and recreational lives of Americans. It serves as a facilitator for the industry to communicate with all segments on issues of national importance. It serves as a forum for its members to participate in all of these activities.
