American Rhododendron Society / Eureka Chapter

Educated and encouraged the public to grow gardens, in particular the genus Rhododendron, by holding annual flower show with educational seminars, participating and maintaining the Moss Family Temperate Woodland Garden at Humboldt Botanical Garden, leading tours of Moss Family Temperate Woodland Garden where there are many rare and endangered Rhododendrons and companion plants, holding 8 public meetings per year with speakers to educate members and the public about gardens, plants, and the natural environment, hosting an international convention for the American Rhododendron Society, holding annual garden tour for members and the public, holding work parties for maintenance of Stagecoach Hill State Park Natural Preserve, and providing educational programs for Humboldt Botanical Gardens and other Chapters
