Annual meeting - astct holds a joint annual meeting with the center for international blood & marrow transplant research (cibmtr),where administators, clinicians, data manager/clinical research professionals, fellows-in-training, investigators, laboratory technicians, md/phd's, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician assistants, and other allied health professionals benefit from a full scientific program addressing the most timely issues in hematopoietic cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy.
Industry relations - as part of its industry relations program, astct sponsors "new investigator awards" designed to encourage clinical and/or laboratory research by young investigators in the field of blood and marrow transplantion and/or cell Therapy.
Education and conferences - astct provides focused education to improve research, patient outcomes, and foster professional development via diverse outlets and opportunities.
Advocacy - astct proudly advocates on behalf of our members and patients from engaging with government leaders on capitol hill to submitting responses to important legislative and policy changes. Astct believes that advocacy is a key component in serving patients by helping them to access some of the most innovative lifesaving treatments.
Journal and publications - astct's official journal "Transplantation and Cellular Therapy" is published monthly and features original research reports, practice guidelines, reviews, editorials, and commentaries focusing on current technology and knowledge in the interdisciplinary field of hematopoetic stem cell Transplantation and the growing field of transplant and nontransplant Cellular immunotherapies. Astct also publishes various newsletters and maintains content hubs to provide current news and information relating to the Cellular Therapy community.
Membership dues - as a professional membership Society of healthcare providers, astct assesses membership dues.
