Program areas at AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CIVIL ENGINEERS Sacramento Section
Technical Meetings/Seminars/Presentations: The Sacramento Section and its affiliates host numerous technical seminars and presentations the year. The technical meetings are held to inform the profession about the civil engineering issues and to inspire civil engineers to continually learn and grow throughout their careers. Educational programs presented are geared to enhance engineering abilities. All member dinners are held to encourage individuals learn more about their discipline and explore into different areas of expertise.
Newsletter and website is geared to inform general public of current issues in the civil engineering Industry.
Awards & Younger Member Group Activities: The Sacramento Section and its affiliates are designed to enhance public awareness of the civil engineering profession through scholarship awards program. The awards program honors the achievements and increase public awareness. Includes honor and award ceremonies, science fair, etc.
