Government affairs team advocates and education to the u.s. federal government in both the executive and legislative branch, include agencies such as u.s. department of agriculture and the environmental protection agency. Issues the Association advocate for include the farm economy, trade, trade agreements, funding market development programs, infrastructure, biodiesel, etc. Overhead cost is allocated to government affairs on both a headcount and usage basis.
