American Theological Library Association

Atla supports its membership by: 1) creating databases for scholarly research in theology and religion that libraries offer to the students and faculty they serve, and 2) providing professional development and collaborative projects for librarians that are created and managed by the member programs department. These opportunities include an annual conference, workshops, webinars, reciprocal borrowing between libraries, and open access publications. During the fiscal year 2023, atla provided over 3.3 million bibliographic references as part of the content available through its atla religion database. The full text content in atlas and atlas plus is now 708 titles. The atla annual conference was held as a hybrid event and attracted over 235 attendees with just over 50% attending in person.
