Program areas at Amigos de Guadalupe Center for Justice and Empowerment

Education, immigration, and organizing: Help in Education is offered with an after school homework center for grades K-8. We have a four-week academic summer program, during the month of July, for grades K-8. We offer scholarships to graduating high school students and continuing college students. Our immigration/organizing work consist of consulting, family based petitions, US Citizenship classes and help with preparation/filing and completing the N400 citizenship application. We offer ELS classes as well as "know your rights" workshops. Purchase Cesar Chavez House, a historical landmark.
Financial Assistance: Our financial assistance program does homeless prevention, screening assistance with security deposits, applications, and out agencies.
Housing: Our program help to find/provide safe parking for individuals and families living in their vehicle. We also manage 2 hotels and a tiny homes community called Casitas de Esperanza.
