Amigos de Las Americas / Peninsula Chapter

Summer programs provide young people an opportunity to gain life experience and leadership skills while living and working with communities in central and south america. Participants are trained to perform youth empowerment, environmental service, and community health projects. During the training in the us, participants also engage in fundraising activities that teach project management, sales, and communication skills. Projects in latin america last from 4 to 8 weeks.
