The Amphitheater Public Schools Foundation Amphi Foundation was established in 1983 to provide resources and support for children and families in the Amphitheater Public School District. The organization's mission is to promote academic excellence through the expansion of resources that enrich the education, development, and well-being of students in the district. The Amphi Foundation's efforts are centered on three focus areas. 1 Student Preparedness - Shoes, clothing, school supplies and other basic needs so children are prepared to fully engage in learning. In FY 2022-2023, $30,655 was invested in this area. 2 Innovative Learning Opportunities for Students & Educator Support - Classroom technology, maker spaces, music program support, classroom & school wide grants, and professional development for teachers. In FY 2022-2023, $126,016 was invested in this area. 3 College, Career & Community Readiness - Student scholarships, exam and activity fee waivers, academic travel stipends, and career exploration programs. In FY 2022-2023, $42,116 was invested in this area. The Amphi Foundation also invested an additional $121,326 in other direct support for district families and schools, most notably in literacy program development and library improvements. The organization also partnered with other community-based organizations to coordinate food access and the provision of food boxes and hygiene supplies to needy families in addition to its core programs.
