Program areas at An-Nisa Hope Center

An-Nisa offers domestic violence and financial case management to those who qualify. The number one priority when working with the clients is to ensure they reach self-sufficiency while also working on their mental health, technical skills, and personal development. Almost 453 domestic violence cases were handled in 2023. An Nisa provided 3566 Counseling Sessions to 413 Clients through the mental health department which also has structured educational programs that focused on a deeper understanding of self-awareness, trauma, and other mental health issues. There were 67 Community Workshops, the team has 5 Therapists, 2 Youth Therapists and 2 Psychiatrists. The An-Nisa Tutoring & Quran Academy continues to be a free K-12 online tutoring service and resource, dedicated to teaching students in low-income and marginalized communities. In 2023, the K-12 tutors have continued to tutor one-on-one. Assisted and mentored a pool of about 93 students. The online Quran and Islamic Studies program has been flourishing under 2 amazing teachers and 12 dedicated & wonderful volunteers who serve as teacher assistants. An-Nisa is amongst the first organization to introduce Neuro feedback in an easy and accessible manner, in 2023 An-Nisa conducted 1293 Neurofeedback sessions.
FOOD DRIVE :Distributed over 3105 fresh iftar meals to refugees, clients, and mosques as needed throughout the entire month of Ramadan. Ensuring that the deserving families experience the joy of breaking their fasts with nutritional meals. The caseworkers and Ramadan team were able to visit families, including widows and single moms to assess their Ramadan needs. Distributed grocery vouchers and gave financial assistance to many families to ensure that they had everything they needed for the month of Ramadan, including groceries and household items.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS An-Nisa strives to inspire change through education, the goal is to prevent and reduce domestic violence by educating the community on how to recognize abuse and qualities of healthy relationships. The aim is to eliminate Domestic Violence from the foundation of the family unit. In 2023 An-Nisa held 67 trainings. Almost 6700 individuals were reached through the Educational outreach program, these also include Quran and Islamic Studies classes.
