ACBA hosted thirteen community work sessions (five specifically for youth, one with Anacostia Watershed Society for Earth Day, with 250 volunteers contributing), to enhance the biological diversity and storm water capturing capacity of the bioswale on site which helps to protect the Anacostia River.
