Anaheim Economic Development Corporation

The Economic Development revenues were for Anaheim recovery & business assistance activities. Economic recovery efforts included Development of a purchasing preference/shop local/dine programs;identification of real-time local, state and federal resources for business relief and assistance; Development and coordination of tele town hall seminars with resort key sectors providing on-going labor law, workforce, tax, financial assistance and security resources; continued outreach to businesses to assess critical needs; identification and support of policies and processes to assist businesses through recovery; coordination and Development of outreach materials and communication strategy to update business community on business resources and assistance programs.

The Anaheim Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with the anheim chamber of commerce, canyon hills community council, the city of Anaheim and others, hosted the Anaheim 4th of july celebration in order to engage residents, businesses and city leaders i creating a sense of community and patriotism. The event included the firecracker 5k/10k run, the yankee doodle dog show, the 4th of july parade and a celebration at the park which culminated the fireworks.
