The Organization supports Floridas 20th Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem program in the five counties of SW Florida. A.N.A.s Friends supports volunteers who advocate for abused, neglected and abandoned children in court, the child welfare system, and the community. The Organization provides a variety of programs to assist these children, which includes childrens special needs, access to the arts, emergency clothing, happier birthdays, beds for kidz, tutoring and gymnastics.
Back to School with the Blue provides Lee County foster children represented by an A.N.A.s Friends Volunteer Advocate with a new backpack full of school supplies and a $100 Old Navy gift card to use for shopping for back to school clothing. We partner with the Lee County Sheriffs Office to help with the distribution and provide a positive law enforcement interaction for the children participating. This program is entirely funded by the Shadow Wood Charitable Foundation.
