Program areas at International Procelain Artists and Teachers
Conventions: ipat provides various conventions, workshops and schools to encourage passion about arts. Ipat, Inc. shall hold in each even numbered year an International convention (biennial) for the purpose of promoting the porcelain arts and displaying and exhibiting porcelain art works (excluding any work done with decals). Proceeds from conventions, shall after all payments of all costs and expenses, be applied to educational projects and museum projects.
Museum projects: ipat's museum has been in existence for over 50+ years. It was first located in dallas then moved to grapevine in the 1990's. It features porcelain art from all over the world in various styles and techniques.
Magazines and certifications: the porcelain artist magazine is the largest and most comprehensive porcelain art magazine in the world. Ipat certifications range from amateur artist, which adults and children can attain as beginning Artists, progress up through certified artist or certified teacher, and further into a graduate program of master Artists or master teacher, techniques around the world, advanced master artist or advanced master teacher and portrait certification. Each workbook requires specific tasks with a gradual learning experience.
