Program areas at Anderson Five Educational Foundation
The homeless and needy student program provides help for students when federal program money cannot be used due to restrictions. Assistance can include items such as bus passes, food, motel stays until temporary placement is found, telephone costs, and supplies. It also includes a program designed to fill any immediate financial needs for students and staff as determined by the school district's community outreach division.
The Foundation supported athletic programs for robert Anderson middle school, tl hanna high school, and westside high school.
Anderson institute of technology programs are designed to enhance advanced manufacturing learning (including machine tools, mechatronics, and biomedical technology), provide equipment and supplies for labs, and support the project the way computer science program.
Additional funds were made available for supplies purchases, stem activities, teacher grants, scholarships, robotics programs, literacy programs and other educational opportunities.
