Program areas at Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado

Mazey's dream - low fee counseling program. 55% of aatpc's clients recevied counseling for a minimum fee, paying an average of 20 per session, based on their ability to pay. No clients were turned away for lack of funds. To qualify, clients earned less than 50,000 per year. Mazey's dream enabled aatpc to see referrals from several organizations such as probation, social services, victims of crime, etc. Counseling was provided by master's level interns and graduate trainees, allowing the clinicians to learn and practice the advanced skills of Animal Assisted psychotherapy under close supervision.
Professional training program in Animal Assisted psychotherapy - since its inception, aatpc has trained mental health professionals in over 10 different countries and nearly every state in the united states in the practice of Animal Assisted psychotherapy. The training fees go to support mazey's dream, aatpc's counseling program for low income clients.
Sasha's paw - professional counseling program. 45% of aatpc's clients paid 85 or more for counseling sessions, which is lower than the standard rate for the front range area. These fees supplemented and supported mazey's dream low fee counseling program.
