Program areas at Antenna
Fiscal Sponsorship: Antenna provides fiscal sponsorship for artists and cultural workers producing works that align with the missions and values.
Paper Machine offers its space for affordable slidng scale rentas for mission aligned events such as exhibitions, community gatherings, and workshops. Proposals for rentals are evaluated by the Antenna team and selected on a case-by-case basis. Paper Machine also offers pro-bono printing of funeral programs for community members, and discounted print services for community partners.
Platforms Fund: Regranting in partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation.
Exhibitions: The Antenna Collective supports the 3718 gallery exhibition schedule includes: Louisiana and National call awardees exhibitions selected by the Antenna Collective; and Antenna Collective Member exhibitions.
Public Programs: Antenna is integrating its public offerings to prioritize and expand programming related to exhibitions. Annually, in partnership with exhibiting and publishing artists, the Antenna Team and Collective develops artist talks, moderated conversations, performances, workshops, publication release events, and readings. Antenna annually presents the 24-hour Draw-A-Thon, seeking workshops through a call for proposals process.
Curator in Residence Curatorial Fellowship engages with national curators to facilitate connecting Louisiana artists to national art networks. This is an invitational curatorial residency. Over the course of two years, the invited curator will generate a curatorial statement for their residency and use this statement to guide the curation of three exhibitions:Louisiana Solo exhibition, Louisiana Group exhibition,and a Collective member exhibition.
