Description
The Appalachian Fiddle and Blue Grass Association seeks to preserve and promote a unique form of American country folk music and educate the membership and general public on bluegrass music. At the festival, they run a free youth academy to teach children how to play bluegrass instruments and play in a band setting. The children then get to showcase their skills on stage on the final day of the festival. Additionally, they provide monthly bluegrass concerts throughout the year.
