Program areas at Appleton City Landmarks Restoration

George W Clark Home and Musuem Annex Building houses the historic artificats donated and purchased by the organizaion.The goal of this program is to maintain and improve artificat collections, house the geneology research equipment, and documents pertaining to the Appleton City area so that future and current generations may be informed and entertained. Fourth grade students from local school utilize the facility to learn about local and Missouri history.Approximately 1200 people served.
Moore School HouseOriginal rural school house moved to the museum complex in 2011. It is open for public viewing and contains items from various rural school houses that have been destroyed. It also contains projects and essays from area individuals.Children are invited to attend Moore School Day to experience what a day at a country school would have been like 100 years ago.Approximately 650 people served.
M-K-T Depot and Original AC LibraryThe MKT Depot building is used by the organization to host the Annual Christmas in the Country festivities, St Patricks Potato fund raiser, and the Taco Lunch. It is also available to be rented by the members and public for wedding and baby showers, birthday and graduation parties and other various civic events.The original MKT caboose is open for people to go through.The park surrounding the depot is used as backdrop for senior pictures and a gathering place for prom pictures.The AC Library building is open for public viewing.Approximately 4000 people served.
