Program areas at TechCharities

TechCharities receives used computers, rebuilds them, and then provides them to others in need either for free or for a small administrative fee. Some computers are donated by local businesses and schools. Some are purchased from recycling companies that acquire them from school districts. Some computers are sent to students in Africa but most of the computers are given to agencies in Utah who, in turn, provide them for their clients. Some clients come to our office and pick up computers directly. Recently, we have expanded our distribution of computers for those in rural areas of Utah and the homeless. Local foundations and individuals help cover the costs by providing generous financial grants and other support.
