Program areas at Architecture and Design Foundation

Through involving the community in public discourse and to collaborate with and embrace individuals and organizations that parallel our mission. The organization also seeks to ensure the preservation of dallas architectural heritage and to collaborate with organizations that paralell that mission. More than 1,500 people participate each year in our Architecture walking tours to explore the neighborhoods, skyline and iconic buildings of dallas.
The Architecture and Design Foundation launched a three-day series of architectural day camps for students with a day of workshops dedicated for the elementary, middle, and high school levels. The series was developed by practicing architects. The k-12 activities inspire, encourage, and educate students about Architecture while highlighting the importance of creative problem solving.
The Architecture and Design Foundation seeks to foster the education of students, young architects and other practitioners of Design through its scholarship and travelling fellowship program. The Foundation awards more than $37,000 in funds annually to Architecture students and architects at the beginning of their careers.
