Area Churches Together Serving

The organization provides charitable assistance to individuals in need of food or shelter. The organization was formed by the Churches of oconee county to provide this service. Individuals are referred to the organization by the Churches of oconee county, the department of family and children services of oconee county, or other social services organizations; other individuals apply for aid and are screened at the food pantry location. During the year an average of 130 clients visited the organization each month and the average number of people served each month was 406.
