Arizona Center for Empowerment empowers low to moderate income families, particularly large and diverse Latino and immigrant communities in Arizona, to overcome effects of social and economic injustice and create opportunities and benefits for their communities. It began operations in May 2010 as a community-led organization committed to raising new leadership by confronting the most pressing needs of underserved communities in Phoenix, AZ.

Program areas at Arizona Center for Empowerment

In 2023, aces programs registered a record number of people to vote, achieved historic legislative victories, and provided increased and improved direct services for arizonas immigrant communities. From voteria to our people first economy campaign, aces programs engaged hundreds of directly impacted arizonans. Following our 2023 victories, ace has positioned itself as a leader in economic justice organizing, voter registration programming, and immigration. Ace registered 10,000 voters across the state of Arizona. Empowerment services our servicios department led their strongest year yet, providing a total of a dozen direct immigration services and contacting over 1,000 people. The servicios team has also added an immigration organizer that will engage communities to be civically engaged and get involved around immigration policies that directly impact them. Through the resources ace provides, such as daca application assistance and english classes, and our new organizing program, we will continue empowering immigrant communities from their homes to the state capitol.
