Arizona Major Events Host Committee

In 2022, we setup the Arizona Major Events Host Committee to be the ongoing hub for current and future Major Events. The directive of the Committee is to attract new Events to the state of Arizona and then plan and activate those Events for the economic, community and long-term benefit of Arizona. During 2022, we worked to establish the framework of the Committee and Major event funding agreement with the Arizona commerce authority ("aca"). Going forward we will continue to bring together local businesses (hotels, transportation, entertainment, etc.) And government to continue planning to Host Events. We mainly incurred minor setup costs and did receive funding for the operations of the Committee and the grant funding for super bowl lvii.
