Living with Myeloma conference and Myeloma research roundtable: the purpose of the conference is to bridge the gap between what a Myeloma patient knows and what they should know about the latest advances in Myeloma research, clinical trials and new treatments. The conference is an interactive free event open to the general public. Topics are selected from prior year's attendee suggestions. We bring in respected Myeloma experts from all over the usa. No one else delivers Myeloma education to the patient like we do. Content is specifically for and delivered directly to the Myeloma patient. We believe that cancer patients should not have to pay to learn about his/her disease. Funding is provided by grants, sponsorships and public donations.the research roundtable is a unique event specifically designed for the scientific oncology community. Myeloma researchers, clinicians, physicians, scientists, etc. Share the latest breakthroughs and clinical trials in an interactive setting. We inspire, excite and provide an opportunity for Myeloma experts to exchange knowledge. Myeloma experts gather at the research roundtable annually. We encourage patients and their caregivers to attend the roundtable to learn technical terminology and increase their communications skills with healthcare professionals. Funding is provided by grants, sponsorships and public donations.
Cancer caregivers education and support program:cancer caregivers seminars are provided free to the general public. Attendees are cancer caregivers for patients with all types of cancer. Cancer caregivers learn practical tips and techniques to care for themself, minimize stress, get help and in-turn increase the quality of patient care. Cancer caregivers are gathered in an interactive setting where it is safe to ask tough questions and be heard. Seminars are conducted all year long. Funding is provided by grants, sponsorships and public donations. We currently seek funding to expand outreach, drive attendance and increase frequency.
