Program areas at Arizonans for the Protection of Exploited Children and Adults
Apeca operates an eight-bed home in Arizona (natalie's house) that offers a safe haven for girls (ages 6 to 16) recovering from sexual exploitation and abuse. Girls at natalie's house receive shelter, food, and clothing. An intensive recovery program is offered which includes outings and educational strategies to assist them in making the transition to a normal, healthy life.
Community awareness training, workshops, and information tables at schools, organizations, and special events to promote awareness on all aspects of sexual exploitation, abuse and self harm. Support activities for teens who are at risk or recovering from self-injury and abuse. Apeca conducts life skills workshops for Children and teens.
