Program areas at Arkansas Learning Through the Arts

Arkansas Learning Through the Arts places arts progrms in classrooms to inspire young people to expand their lerning through the arts. The programs support teachers by enhancing the lessions and subject they are working on with students. Professional teaching artists engage students in learning through their art forms, e.g.creating poetry, writing and performing songs, expressing characters through dance, or drumming rhthmically on African drums. ALTTA offers over 70+ unique workshops spanning Pre-K through 12th grade. In the 2023-24 school year ALTTA did programs in 16 school and served over 3,300 students.
