Program areas at Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association / Afcea-La Operational Programs
Space Industry Days two day conference during which the Space Systems Command personnel present space acquisition program status and business opportunities. Headquarters Space Force officials address future requirements and budgets for space systems. Industry speakers share industry best practices and future technologies. Attendance is by members of aerospace and defense industries and associated government personnel. Registration fees are charged for attendance. We are a co-sponsor with Greater Los Angeles Chapter to the National Defense Industrial Association, Air Force Association Schriever Chapter, and the Southern California Aerospace Professionals Representatives.
AFCEA Educational Program Funding: Funding provided to AFCEA Educational Program (part of AFCEA LA Chapter for educational grants) to support teacher grants and STEM scholarships paid from the AFCEA Educational Program.
Luncheons and workshops: The Chapter provides periodic luncheons and workshops for government and aerospace industry attendees. Registration fees are charged for attendance to cover expenses. Government and industry officials provide summaries of program status, best practices, and business opportunities.
