Armstrong Foundation of Georgia Southern University, Inc. ("Foundation") provided scholarships and other assistance to 428 students. The students receiving scholarships are selected by a scholarship committee comprised of Georgia Southern faculty and staff. In addition, the Foundation provided the University with funds for faculty salary supplements, laboratory supplies/equipment and operating programs.effective july 1, 2019, the Foundation was merged with and into Georgia Southern University Foundation, Inc., which shall be the surviving corporation, and the Foundation will cease to exist as a separate entity.
