Program areas at Artis
Grant programs:the Artis grant program was established in 2007 in response to the growing success of the Israeli Contemporary Art community and the increased need for support for international projects featuring Israeli artists. The programs aim is to fund meaningful opportunities for promising and established artists and to further cultural exchange and access to Israeli Contemporary Art by supporting projects outside of israel. Exhibition, residency, acquisition, research, and partnership grants are awarded on a project-basis to organizations and individual artists. We prioritize high impact, high visibility solo or group projects that reach broad audiences outside of israel. Professional research trips to israel:artis invites leading international museum directors, curators, critics and writers on annual group tours of israel's Contemporary cultural landscape, building lasting connections between local and international Art communities. Research grants and guides to the Israeli Art scene are also available throughout the year. Public programs:artis partners with a wide range of international arts organizations to present projects and commission new work by Contemporary Israeli artists. From artist talks to symposia, our programs offer artists exposure to new audiences at pivotal moments in their careers.
