Program areas at Arts Mission Oak Cliff
Artist in Residence (AiR):Awarded 5 local, independent artists and arts groups three month residencies at AMOC. Each artist/arts group was given access to the creative space and resources in order to support the creation and presentation of a new work. Through AiR AMOC offered 3 original productions, 2 temporary exhibits, and 9 workshops and served 397 community members.
Productions & Co-Pros:AMOC partnered with 15 artists and arts groups to present performances to the public, including Cabaret, the musical and Weretree, an original production inspired by the story of Pinocchio. Over 914 community members attended these performances in 2023.
Rentals:AMOC offers affordable rentals to artist in arts groups for workshops, events, productions, and studio space. In 2023, AMOC supported 41 low-cost event rentals.
