Having turned 20 years old in 2023, Ascanio's Purse celebrates its past production, recording, and wide dissemination for the benefit of the general public of many major operatic and other works of the classical music cannon. These have been generational musical recordings, all resulting from the efforts of an international team of major artists, recording professionals, and the record labels of warner music. Such recordings have made available to a large public audience worldwide and in the united states complete, authentic, and high-fidelity concert versions of musical masterpieces that otherwise would not have been economical or feasible to produce. None of this could have been achieved but for the charitable efforts and financial contributions of Ascanio's Purse and its generous donors. Through the assembly and structure of its team, Ascanio's Purse was able to fund and produce a significant body of hector berlioz's major operas and other vocal and instrumental works. It also was able to branch out to similar repertoire by other classical composers the particular interest and expertise of the team, for example, handel's messiah. Ascanio's Purse is looking forward to continuing the above-described activities with its team. In 2022 the organization funded and produced handel's messiah and the opera romeo and juliet.
