$990,000 was granted to continue the construction at vietnam's bach ma bear sanctuary, where over 300 bears are housed, and to provide operations costs for the sanctuary where veterinary care is provided to the bears. $100,000 was granted to wildlife friends foundation thailand to rescue 50 gibbons that were at a farm being shut down in northern thailand. This grant allowed for 18 new shelters to be built and allowed for trees to be planted to create shade for these new habitats. $83,215 was granted to build a veterinary clinic in chiang mai thailand where over 300 elephants live in sanctuary. This clinic construction will mean that elephants don't need to be transported over 2 hours to reach medical care. In addition, the clinic will provide care for 1000 of other local animals like cats, dogs, ox and cows.
